She managed to balance the need for something quite light for a main course (her special miso salmon, which is to die for) accompanied with delicious and varied salads, with the need for nibbles and extras to keep the chaps (and girls and children) happy. The chorizo puffs were more-ish enough, but the cheese biscuits to go with the cold pepper soup were quite the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere. And she had the sense to make stacks of them.
